In Proletarsk, Rostov region of Russia, for the second day now they have been trying to extinguish a fire at an oil depot, which was struck by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev admitted on August 19 that “the specialists involved are forced to carry out their tasks in difficult conditions of high temperatures.”
Currently, 18 firefighters have sought medical attention, 14 of whom have received outpatient care. The rest have been taken to the Central Regional Hospital and are in moderate condition due to burns.
At the same time, local Telegram channels write that a second explosion occurred at the oil depot on Monday, which is why firefighters were injured. Official authorities do not confirm the information.
