Local authorities blame the Chechens for the theft. A video appeared on social networks of Russian soldiers robbing a mobile phone store.
Russian soldiers in the Kursk region broke into and looted a cellular phone store. A video from a surveillance camera on Sunday, August 18, was published by the Pepel Telegram channel.
They noted that the robbery was carried out by Chechens, among whom there was also a man with a Slavic appearance.
The incident took place in the village of Glushkovo. In the recording, two soldiers can be seen breaking glass and shop windows. Then they started taking equipment out of the room and trying to break down the door.
Soon, a third soldier entered the store and looked directly into the camera. After this, one of the robbers knocked down the CCTV camera. This is where the video ends.
The adviser to the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Alekhin, confirmed that the video shows Russian military personnel. He said he reports “all incidents of theft to the proper authorities.”
According to Alekhine, the looters in the video deserved to die, because they robbed the local population, which “from the first days of the SVO prepared food, clothes and shoes, soap and laundry for the military.”
It was previously reported that in Russia a toilet was stolen from an invader while he was stealing from Ukraine.
