Unlike this week, when the Ukrenergo Dispatch Center recorded a shortage only at night, next week the energy shortage will be felt throughout the day.

Due to the heat, shortages in Ukraine’s energy system are expected next week. This was said by the head of Ukrenergo Vladimir Kudrytsky on Sunday, August 18.

Kudritsky explained that next week Ukraine will face a new heat test.

“Unfortunately, energy shortages in the system due to increased consumption will return therefore, economical energy consumption will be very important to get through the period from Monday to Friday with less discomfort for everyone of consumers,” he stressed.

According to Kudrytsky, unlike this week, when the Ukrenergo Dispatch Center recorded a shortage only at night, next week the lack of energy will be felt throughout the day.

We reported that on August 19, stabilization schedules will take effect from 17:00 to 21:00.

We remind you that Ukrenergo has recently applied shutdown schedules for industry and business.

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution according to which the closing schedules will not apply to consumers who use at least 80% of their own electricity.
