The Ukrainian Marines, along with other units of the Defense Forces, are at the forefront of combat missions in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Soldiers of the 501st separate Marine Battalion are dropping a tricolor rag in the village of Apanasovka, the caption to the video says.
As is known, Apanasovka is located southwest of Korenevo. The distance to the district center is about 13 km, and to the border with Ukraine – 10 km. An important road passes by Apanasovka, which goes to the village of Snagost, and from there – to Korenevo itself.
Let us recall that on August 18, the Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk, published a video of the destruction of another bridge in the Kursk region, which the Russian army used for logistical purposes.
