In the next two hours and until the end of the day on August 18, thunderstorms are expected in the western, Zhitomir, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions, in some places squalls of 15-20 m/s. The first level of danger, yellow, has been declared. This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
The State Emergency Service has called for all windows to be tightly closed and for objects that could fall out to be removed from balconies and loggias in the event of strong winds.
