The Warriors’ Day Parade has been held in Toronto since 1921. It honors the men and women who serve in the Canadian Armed Forces.
For the first time in history, Ukrainian military personnel took part in the Veterans Day parade in Toronto, Canada. This was announced by the Consul General of Ukraine in Toronto Oleg Nikolenko on Facebook on Sunday, August 18.
“I am very proud that we have carried out this important project, I thank our military personnel for their participation, as well as the management of the Canadian National Exhibition for this opportunity,” he said.
And he added that now Ukraine is fighting not only for its freedom, but also for the freedom of the democratic world.
The Warriors’ Day Parade has been held in Toronto since 1921. It honors the men and women who serve in the Canadian Armed Forces. Ukraine’s invitation to participate this year is a confirmation of the strong friendship between our countries.
We remind you that the Ukrainian military can use tanks and armored vehicles provided by Canada on the territory of Russia.
