A new multimodal terminal operated in the Zakarpattia region.
The so-called dry port “Terminal Chernotisov” appeared on the territory of Beregovsky district. The main function of this logistics hub is the transshipment of various goods for further transportation to recipients in all corners of the world. We are talking not only about agricultural products and oil, but also about petroleum products. The head of the Zakarpattia OV Viktor Nikita reported this on Facebook.
The terminal was built near the border of Hungary and Romania, which are EU members. The company is actively expanding production processes and intends to increase the volume of goods handled several times in 2025.
The company’s production area is 14.1 hectares. The total investment to date is about UAH 282 million.
Nikita emphasized that the opening of the enterprise will bring significant revenues to the budget and new jobs for workers in the community.
Let us recall that the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine reported that from August 2023 to June 2024 it exported 50 million tons of cargo by sea. Thus, Ukraine remains a top exporter of agricultural products.
