NASA recorded a fire at Russia’s Savasleika airbase

NASA’s FIRMS satellite system confirmed a fire at the airport after a nighttime attack.

The Savasleika airbase in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia was attacked on the night of August 14, in particular, explosions were heard there. Satellites detected a fire on the territory of the airport. This is confirmed by data from the Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) satellite fire recording system of NASA, published by OSINT analyst Neonhandrail on the X social network (Twitter).

The Russian Federation announced nighttime air strikes using drones and air defense operations in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

NASA satellites recorded a fire at the Russian Savasleika airbase at 3:30 am. According to preliminary information, fuel and lubricant warehouses are on fire there.

At the Savasleika airbase, where Kinzhal missile carriers and MiG-31K aircraft may be based, 10 “arrivals” were recorded.

Let’s add that on the night of Wednesday, August 14, powerful explosions occurred in the Voronezh region of Russia. Local public pages wrote about an attack by at least a dozen drones.
