The curfew has been extended in the Kharkiv region.
An extended curfew will be in effect in 201 settlements of the region – from 17.00 to 9.00. This will apply to 11 settlements of the Izyum district, 37 – Chuguevsky, 41 – Kharkiv, 42 – Bogodukhov and 73 – Kupyansky districts. The head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov reported this on Telegram.
According to him, the decision was made to ensure the effective operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the safety of civilians, since these frontline border territories are “extremely dangerous to live in.”
The head of the regional military administration also reported that since May 10, authorities have evacuated almost 14,000 people, including a thousand children, from the Bogodukhov, Kharkov, Chuguevsky and Kupyansky districts. Over the past 24 hours, 55 people have been evacuated – 46 adults and nine children.
Recall that restrictions on the movement of citizens have been introduced in the 20-kilometer border zone of the Sumy region due to the increase in the number of battles and the activation of Russian VRGs. People will be allowed to the border areas with Ukrainian passports and the corresponding registration of residence in this zone.
