The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service commented on reports of the movement of equipment of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus in the regions of Gomel and Mozyr.
On Sunday, the movement of Belarusian equipment near the Ukrainian border was not recorded. This was stated by the representative of the State Border Service Andrei Demchenko in a comment to LIGA.net on Sunday, August 11.
So, Demchenko commented on the reports about the movement of equipment of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense in the regions of Gomel and Mozyr.
The spokesman added that the situation along the border remains unchanged.
Earlier, the Security Ministry said that the units of one of the mechanized formations of the Belarusian army are ready to carry out their assigned tasks.
Before this, the dictator of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko gave instructions to strengthen the grouping of troops in the tactical directions of Gomel and Mozyr. Military units of special operations forces, ground forces, and missile forces, including Polonaise rocket systems and Iskander complexes, were tasked with conducting marches to designated areas.
Lukashenko also announced the “high combat readiness” of Belarusian troops due to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
