The Belarusian Defense Ministry said it was sending additional military equipment to areas bordering Ukraine.
The Belarusian department noted that units of one of the mechanized units “have been put on alert to carry out their assigned tasks.”
Propagandists from Minsk even showed a video allegedly confirming the overturning of equipment.
Earlier, Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko gave orders to strengthen the troop group in the Gomel and Mozyr tactical directions “in order to respond to any possible provocations.”
The situation on the border with Belarus is under control, the movement of equipment or personnel is not recorded. This was reported on August 11 by the representative of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Andrey Demchenko on the air of “We are Ukraine”.
He stressed that the situation on the border is unchanged. He says that Belarus is escalating the situation to play along with Russia.
Most likely, within the framework of this information influence, Belarus will be forced to take both photos and video materials. Perhaps, some units will be located in the direction of the border with Ukraine. But at the moment, no additional forces are recorded near our border, – added Andrei Demchenko.
Earlier, Minsk sent a note of protest to Ukraine in connection with the “violation of the border by drones.” And the Chargé d’Affaires of Ukraine in Belarus, Olga Timush, was threatened with the closure of the Ukrainian embassy in Minsk. This was reported by BELTA, citing the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
