Today, August 7, Russian invaders carried out a total of 26 attacks on border areas and settlements in the Sumy region during the day.

A total of 61 explosions were recorded. This was reported by the press service of the Sumy Department of Internal Affairs.
The following were subjected to shelling:
- Sumy community – the enemy carried out an air strike with KAB (two explosions);
- Seredino-Buda community – three mines were dropped by the Russians on the territory of the community. There were also artillery shelling (eight explosions), an FPV drone strike (one explosion);
- Krasnopolskoye society – there were FPV drone attacks (four explosions), mortar attacks (six explosions) and grenade launchers (five explosions);
- Novoslobodskaya community – an airstrike by the KAB (two explosions);
- Esmani community – the enemy fired mortars (four explosions);
- Youth community – KAB airstrikes (12 explosions), FPV drone strike (one explosion);
- Khotyn community – KAB airstrikes recorded (nine explosions);
- Vorozhbyanskoye society – Russians fired artillery (two explosions);
- Stetskovskaya community – KAB airstrike (two explosions).
