Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk said that on the night of August 6-7, defenders of the skies of Ukraine shot down 30 enemy drones, the Air Force press service reports.
“On the night of August 7, 2024, Russian invaders attacked UAVs of the Shahed type from Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions, Yeisk of the Russian Federation as a result of anti-aircraft combat, all enemy UAVs were shot down in Kyiv, Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Kharkov and Cherkasy regions,” the message said.
Earlier, it was reported that the air defense force shot down four suicide bombers in the Khmelnitsky region.
