Often the cause of injuries during mountain hiking is uncomfortable clothing and shoes, which increase the likelihood of falling.
In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, on the rocks of Dovbush, two tourists were injured – from the Kiev region and the UK. This was reported by the main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region on Monday, August 5.
It is indicated that on the afternoon of August 5, rescuers received a message from a resident of the Kiev region that he, together with another tourist from the UK, was injured while moving on the rocks of Dovbush and needed the help of rescuer.
“Upon arriving at the tourists’ location, rescuers gave them first aid and took them to an emergency medical vehicle,” the rescuers reported.

They urged people to undertake trips responsibly, not to overestimate their physical abilities, be sure to choose appropriate clothing and shoes, and study the route before traveling.
A group of 13 tourists got lost in the mountains in the Carpathian region. 12 tenth-graders and one adult could not independently navigate the terrain on the tourist route of Mount Dzembronya in the village of Zelena, Verkhovyna district. So, we asked the rescuers for help.
Earlier, border guards rescued a resident of Kharkov who had been wandering in the Carpathians for six days. The man said he planned to travel illegally to one of the EU countries, but he didn’t realize the journey would be so dangerous.
