Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko wrote about this on August 4.
He writes that this conclusion can be drawn from the results of monitoring and recording of movement along key stations from the environment.
Yes, it is recorded:
- Aslanovo station – four mainline diesel locomotives in Russian Railways colors coupled into two “rafts” with freight cars attached. The freight cars are filled and partially covered. The composition of the cargo and the route have not yet been determined with the available resources;
- Kalchik station – one mainline diesel locomotive in Russian Railways colors has been recorded;
- Sartana station recorded seven passenger carriages in the colors of Russian Railways with the indication (plates) “Ekaterinburg”. It was these carriages that we indicated last time as a test run under the cover of civil transportation of the bases of their real implementation.
All this, as well as some details that I have no right to disclose due to the safety of sources and insiders, point to one fact. Silently and secretly, without announcements and red ribbons, the railway was launched.
This could radically change the situation at the front due to the improvement of Russian logistics. And do not talk about “an alternative to the Crimean Bridge.” This is wrong. This is an independent autonomous branch, which now has greater throughput and power than the bridge, – Andryushchenko notes.
