The former officer was informed of the suspicion of obstructing the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations – of helping to avoid military service by those liable for military service during mobilization.
The former Rivne military commissar Sergei Lutsyuk was detained again and a new suspicion was reported to him. The press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Saturday, August 3.
It is reported that the former officer was informed of a new suspicion of obstructing the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations – of helping to avoid military service of those liable for military service during mobilization.
The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention is decided.
Let us remind you that earlier he was known on suspicion of illegal enrichment of more than 46 million UAH, as well as abuse of power or official authority of a military officer and theft.
Earlier, it was reported that the chief military commissar of the Rivne region had beaten a subordinate. The colonel and lieutenant colonel learned that the driver of a rifle company of one of the military units of the Rivne district military registration and enlistment office was planning to report their violations during the service. This is the reason for beating the man. During the investigation, it appeared that the regional military commissar had an undeclared condition. Among them are two trucks, land plots and an unfinished hotel in a ski resort in the Carpathians. The total amount of illegal enrichment reached more than 52 million hryvnias. In December 2023, the property was seized and transferred to ARMA.
A year ago, Sergei Lutsyuk was taken into custody.
