The IDF has carried out an airstrike on the West Bank of the Jordan River, killing a Hamas commander and four Islamic Jihad militants, Reuters reported.
The first airstrike was said to have hit a car near the city of Tulkarm. One of the dead was a Hamas commander. A second strike was carried out a few hours later, targeting another group of armed militants.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said five people were killed in the first strike, while WAFA said four people were killed in the second strike.
Recall that on July 31, Hamas leader Ismail Ganiya, who was in special residences for war veterans, was killed in Tehran. The media called this one of the most successful operations of the IDF.
And in July, Hamas’ military wing commander Mohammed Deif was killed. Israel believes he was the mastermind behind the October 7 attack.
