In the final of the competition in Paris, Ukrainian athletes defeated their opponent from South Korea and won gold medals. The match for the title of Olympic champions ended with a score of 45:42. Ukraine was represented by Olga Kharlan, Alina Komashchuk, Elena Krovatska and Yulia Bakastova. This became known during the broadcast of the Games.

Let us recall that in the semi-final, Ukrainian athletes competed with representatives of Japan. Victory in the semi-final guaranteed the Ukrainians at least silver medals.
