The autotransformers will help maintain Ukraine’s energy grid and provide electricity to 38 million Ukrainians.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) purchased 18 autotransformers to support Ukraine’s energy sector. This was announced by the US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink.
“USAID bought 18 autotransformers, and that’s not the only thing that will help maintain Ukraine’s energy grid, despite Russian attacks, and provide electricity to 38 million Ukrainians,” he said.
We remind you that Kharkov received about 60 transformers from the USA. It was also reported that Ukraine received powerful transformers from Japan.
