Iran initiated an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council over the killing of the main commander of the Hamas group, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran. The meeting should begin on Wednesday, July 31, at 23:00 Kyiv time, Ukrinform reports.
It was noted that Iran sent a request to the UN Secretary General and the Permanent Mission of Russia, which heads the Security Council, in July.
