One of the reasons for rejecting the postponement in Russia is the fear of “reduction in reserve personnel.”
The State Duma rejected a bill to postpone mobilization for fathers with many children. Radio Liberty reported this on Wednesday, July 31.
The voting results have not yet been published, but, according to the Baza Telegram channel, representatives of United Russia voted against the bill, and representatives from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and A Just Russia vote for it.
As one of the reasons for rejecting the postponement, Russian representatives indicated the fear that there would be a “reduction in reserve personnel.”
In addition, speaking from the podium, United Russia member Andrei Krasov said that a man should think about how to feed his family second, because he consists of “a wife and a rank.”
In the past, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the state’s top priority is “national protection.” For his sake, in particular, Russians are limited in their reproductive rights.
We reported that the Russian Federation will be forced to announce another wave of mobilization before the end of 2024, despite the fact that its army is currently larger than the Ukrainian one.
