The Parliament of Moldova has decided to sell the territory of the former Republican Stadium in Chisinau for the construction of a new US Embassy, Newsmaker reports.
It is reported that the stadium will be sold for 18 million euros. Moldova plans to use the proceeds from the sale to create a center for culture and contemporary art, as well as the renovation of sports schools across the country and the design of a new National Stadium.

It was also noted that the United States will invest approximately $240 million in the construction of the new embassy and the creation of the park, and will also pay up to 7.5 million euros for the costs associated with the preparation of the territory for this project.
