It was noted that during two unsuccessful attack attempts, the Russian Federation used approximately 140 units of military equipment. In the final attack, which was reported on July 30, the Russians used 10 tanks, 47 infantry fighting vehicles (IFV), 10 motorcycles, and a buggy. As a result, the attack was repulsed, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit or destroyed 12 infantry fighting vehicles, eight tanks, nine motorcycles and one buggy. 36 Russian servicemen were killed and 32 were wounded.
Before this, on July 24, the 79th Separate Air Assault Tauride Brigade reported another large-scale offensive attempt by the Russian army in the direction of Kurakhovsky. The Russian military then deployed 11 tanks, 45 infantry fighting vehicles, a Terminator tank support combat vehicle and 12 motorcycles. The attack attempt was also repulsed, and the losses of the Russian Ministry of Defense amounted to six tanks, seven infantry fighting vehicles, and 12 motorbikes. The Russians lost 40 soldiers and 37 were wounded.
