Donald Trump’s nephew Fred Trump says his uncle is “nuclear crazy” and does things that make him “wince.” He also said he would vote for Democratic challenger Kamala Harris. He said this in an interview with ABC News.
“Every family has a crazy uncle. My Uncle Donald is nuclear crazy,” he said, introducing his new book All in the Family: Trump and How We Got Here.
Asked to explain what he meant, Fred Trump noted: “He does things… that make me cringe and say, is this the same person I knew? What changed him?… What made him be like this? But at the same time, I have a good relationship with him.”
Fred Trump also said his uncle used racist words and also made derogatory remarks about people with disabilities, saying they “require too much expense and should die.”
According to the nephew, the former president is not a racist or xenophobe, but “uses people as props and pushes them aside as soon as he gets what he wants.”
Fred Trump admits he will vote for Kamala Harris in November.
Donald Trump’s team categorically denied any accusations against the Republican candidate, calling the nephew’s words lies.
