The command of the Air Assault Troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces ensures that information about the withdrawal of a serviceman from his position is misinterpreted.
The 80th separate air assault Galician brigade of the DShV opposed the potential removal of brigade commander Colonel Emil Ishkulov from his post. The information about the possible dismissal of a military man became known the previous day, and the reason was that he was allegedly opposed to a task that was disproportionate to the strength of the brigade. This was confirmed by the appeal of the battalion and division commanders of the 80th brigade, report Ukrainian truth.
“Our brigade is led by a professional military officer, paratrooper officer, Colonel Ishkulov Emil Shamilevich, who passed through all levels of command – from the commander of a reconnaissance platoon to a combat brigade. He knows what means to lead the people, including behind enemy lines, what is captivity, he was awarded many state and departmental awards, among them the Hero of the People and the Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky of three levels… We do not understand why commanders who enjoy unconditional authority over personnel, with a successful military path and experience in a great war, are not acceptable to the top leadership of the Armed Forces. of Ukraine, because they are not afraid to express problematic issues and report the real state of affairs, do not cover their eyes and do not think to put people on the road to the next shoulder straps and orders.
We request that Colonel Emil Shamilevich Ishkulov remain in the post of commander of the 80th Separate Air Assault Galician Brigade, under his leadership we are ready to continue to carry out combat missions and free the Ukrainian land from the evil spirits of Russia. We support Colonel Ishkulov,” their message said.
The command of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine responded to this situation on its Facebook page and said that “this information is accompanied by an incorrect interpretation.”
“Colonel Emil Ishkulov is a prolific combat officer who passed through all ranks of command in Ukrainian landing force units, is a knight of the Orders of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees of Bogdan Khmelnytsky… (He ) successfully carried out super-heavy combat missions, in particular leading a separate unit of the 81st separate airmobile Slobozhanskaya in the southern direction, and then for a long time the Galician brigades of the DShV in direction of Bakhmut.
Accordingly, taking into account the invaluable combat and command experience of this officer, by decision of the military leadership, Colonel Ishkulov will be appointed to the highest position. This will allow him to use his knowledge, skills and leadership qualities acquired in planning and organizing combat operations on the scale of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the message said.
As already written, President Vladimir Zelensky congratulated the soldiers of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their professional holiday.
