The Central Bank’s services are working with failures or not working at all. Russians are also having problems with Zenit and Gazprombank, communications and Internet providers. MTS clients have been complaining about failures for three days now.
The largest DDOS attack against Russian internet infrastructure and a cyberattack on Russian services financing the war against Ukraine has been ongoing since July 23, several Ukrainian media outlets reported, citing intelligence sources.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian intelligence had “taken down” the Russian banking system, in particular Sberbank, Raiffeisen, VTB, Alfa Bank and others.
The media, citing sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate, reported that as a result of the strike, the operation of payment systems, mobile banking applications, personal accounts, and the system for paying for public transport services ceased or became significantly more complicated. There were also interruptions in the operation of Russia’s main mobile operators and Internet providers.
