They supported Harris’ candidacy for the post of President of the United States of America from the Democratic Party. The former president emphasized that “we will do everything possible for her to win” in the presidential race. Obama wrote about this on the social network X.
We told her that we believe she will make a fantastic president of the United States and that she has our full support. At this critical time for our country, we will do everything we can to ensure that she wins in November, the statement said.
As is known, Harris has the support of the overwhelming majority of the Democratic Party leaders. However, her candidacy can only be officially nominated at the Democratic convention scheduled for August.
Earlier this week, Michelle and I called our friend @KamalaHarris. We had to think about making a fantastic president of the United States, and that he has our full support. At this critical moment for our country, we will go to those that we can make him wins in… pic.twitter.com/0UIS0doIbA

Recall that the current US President Joe Biden announced on July 21 that he was withdrawing his candidacy from the presidential elections. He added that it was in the interests of his party and the country for him to step down and focus exclusively on fulfilling his duties as president for the remainder of his term.
Following this, US Vice President Kamala Harris announced that she intends to run in the US presidential election instead of Joe Biden.
