The National Police press service reported this today, July 25.
A mobile group from the police bomb squad went to the crash site, defused the munition, and subsequently destroyed it at a special testing ground by detonating it, the report said.
The police note that if any ammunition, suspicious objects similar to ammunition or their parts are found:
- under no circumstances should you approach them or touch them;
- You must call emergency services at 112, 101 or 102.
