According to the repair schedule for power units and power plants, more generation is expected in August than in July.
Ukraine’s energy workers are trying to reduce power shortages, despite continued enemy attacks on energy facilities. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this in his speech on Sunday, July 21.
“I want to note the work of all our repair teams, our nuclear workers, everyone involved in stabilizing the supply is doing everything to provide more electricity,” he said.
At the same time, he noted that the Russians are not giving up their attempts to destroy the Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
“We are dealing with terrorists, Russian strikes do not stop But still, Ukrainian energy workers are trying to make the situation with less power shortage,” said the president.
We remind you that the Ministry of Energy said that the situation with light in Ukraine has somewhat improved due to weather conditions, as the heat has subsided in recent days.
Energy experts predict that July will be the most difficult period for the Ukrainian energy system. It is at this time that nuclear power plants undergo scheduled maintenance.
A hotline on energy issues has been launched in Ukraine
