Zelensky reacted to Biden’s decision

United States President Joe Biden officially announced his withdrawal from the election race on the evening of July 21.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky responded to White House head Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw his election candidacy. On his page on the social network X, Zelensky thanked Joe Biden for supporting Ukraine and noted that Kyiv will continue to need it.

“Ukraine is grateful to President Biden for his unwavering support of Ukraine’s fight for independence, which, along with the strong bipartisan support of the United States, has been and continues to be very important,” Zelensky said.

Zelensky said that in recent years, many important decisions were made in the United States, and they will be remembered as bold steps of the American leader, which he made in difficult times.

“And we respect today’s tough but firm decision. We will always be grateful for President Biden’s leadership. He stood by our country at the most dramatic moment in history, helped us stop Putin from taking over our country, and continues to support us throughout this terrible war.
