The head of state stressed that most of the kamikaze drones were shot down by the Ukrainian military. He also added that the enemy drops hundreds of guided aerial bombs daily on Ukrainian cities and villages and Defense Forces positions. Zelensky stressed that the Ukrainian state needs reliable protection from KABs. The president reported this on Facebook on July 21.
According to him, a fair response to the Russians would be for the allies to decide to allow Western weapons to strike Russia at long distances.
This is real if we destroy the bomb carriers – Russian military aviation where it exists. Our sufficient range should be a fair response to Russian terror. And everyone who supports us in this – supports protection from terror, – he said.
Let us recall that on the night of July 21, the Russians launched 39 Shahed-type attack drones at Ukraine. The enemy attack lasted seven hours, and air defense forces managed to shoot down 35 Shaheds in the Sumy, Poltava, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Nikolaev, Odessa and Cherkasy regions.
