The 51-year-old Oscar-winning actress published a photo surrounded by children and participated in a question-and-answer session with subscribers.
Gwyneth Paltrow is a mother who is very close to her two children, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin. In July, the actress and producer shared a photo of herself with them during a question-and-answer game with her Instagram followers. In the photo, her 20-year-old daughter Apple is standing on the left in a red and white plaid dress and black velvet ballet flats. 18-year-old Moses appears on the right, surrounding him with a necktie, shirt and baggy trousers.
A troubled generation
The photo appears to have been taken on a country road, suggesting a family summer vacation. In the caption, Gwyneth Paltrow also noted that this is the most recent photo of her son. Then the Oscar-winning actress, who has nearly 8 million subscribers, was asked what she preferred about them and what bothered her the most. “I think they both know each other very well, and that’s a quality about them that I love and admire,” he said. Otherwise, I guess what worries me about them is anxiety. As we know, the new generation is very restless…”
Gwyneth Paltrow’s children aren’t the only ones subject to anxiety and other worries. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last April, she said she suffered a sort of “nervous breakdown” at the idea of being alone in the family home. A young graduate, Moses, the youngest, plans to attend Brown University in Rhode Island in the fall. “My identity has always been maternal. Apple will turn 20 years old in May. I have oriented my whole life around them, their schedule and the start of the academic year.” And continue. “We’re slowly starting to let them go when they’re traveling in the car or doing things. It’s a slow process. But I also feel very lucky because I have a close group of mom friends and we all raised our kids together. So we’re kind of in the same boat.”
