G7 leaders expressed the need to work with China on common global challenges and called on the PRC to fulfill its obligations under international law and contribute to international security.
“We remind China to adhere to the principle of the UN Charter for the peaceful settlement of disputes and refrain from threats, coercion, intimidation or use of force,” the communiqué said.
