Considering the continuation of the work of the grain corridor, Ukrainian grain export volumes have increased.
Ukraine has increased the volume of grain exports compared to last year, and now an average of 7 million tons are exported monthly. The President of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation Leonid Kozachenko spoke about it on Ukrainian Radio.
According to him, 80-85% of exports come from the Black Sea Grain Corridor, which has continued its operation in a different format. Considering the continuation of the work of the grain corridor, Ukrainian grain export volumes have increased.
“Of course, we must add that the Danube logistics route has never transported products in such quantities. It is in second place after the Black Sea grain corridor. Therefore, our total export volume in a few months even exceeded what We averaged for last year We are talking about 7 million tons – this is approximately what we currently export monthly, “said Kozachenko.
He added that in total, when the big war started, the cost of logistics increased almost four and a half times.
Let us remind you that farmers from all regions of Ukraine harvest early grain crops. In total, 15.7 million tons of new crops have been harvested from 4.403 million hectares.
