So far, three people have been killed, and five more have been injured to varying degrees of severity, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).

According to preliminary information, the Russians hit the city with an X-59 missile. As a result of the airstrike, a playground of a kindergarten in the courtyard of multi-story buildings was damaged. In addition, apartment buildings were damaged by the blast wave and debris.

The deceased were an elderly woman, a man and a 12-year-old boy.

The boy’s mother is in a state of shock. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service are working with the woman, Interior Minister Igor Klimenko said on his Telegram channel.

The minister noted that rescuers and police are examining the scene of the incident – in addition to three houses, a kindergarten was also damaged.

We are providing the necessary assistance to the victims. An assistance headquarters has been set up. In particular, the victims can file a police report there about destroyed and lost property, Klimenko added.

The minister noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has killed more than 560 Ukrainian children and wounded more than 1,460 more.
