Yulia Yatsyk left the Servant of the People faction. The coalition officially has 233 deputies.
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on his social networks.
She had tried to do this twice before, but the exit was only agreed upon now. As the deputy herself explained, she had raised the issue of the theft of humanitarian aid, in particular by the President’s Office, and “it was not liked.”
In 2019, Yatsyk was elected as a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation from the Servant of the People party in electoral district No. 79 (Zaporizhia region).
In 2020, Yatsyk spoke out against the creation of an advisory council in the Trilateral Contact Group with the participation of representatives of the ORDLO, despite the position of the Servant of the People faction.
In 2022, Yatsyk left the Servant of the People party, but remained in the faction. He called on deputies not to vote for bill No. 5655, a scandalous urban development reform.
That same year, according to local media, Yatsyk was engaged in “buckwheat farming” by distributing humanitarian aid to residents of the Zaporizhia region. According to journalists, Yatsyk distributed humanitarian aid distributed by the regional military administration under her own name.
In 2024, Yatsyk criticized the “popularization” and public support, as well as “propaganda” and holding mass events in defense of the LGBT community on social media. In addition, the deputy stated that she “cultivates traditional relationships and family values.”
