Ukrainian intelligence officials noted that mass failures were influenced by the unreliable and dangerous work of Russian air defense.
Russians are afraid to vacation in Crimea amid the situation that has developed on the peninsula due to the occupying forces. The Main Intelligence Directorate reported this on its Telegram channel.
Intelligence said that nearly 80% of Russians refused tours arranged for June 2024 in occupied Sevastopol. The overall Crimean rate of cancellations of booked tours last month was more than a third.
“First of all, the Russians, who changed their mind about basking on the captured Crimean coasts, are worried about the difficult security situation caused by the occupation,” GUR said in a statement.
Intelligence officials added that the widespread refusal of Russians to vacation in Crimea was influenced by the unreliable and lethal operation of the Russian occupiers’ air defense system.
“Another risk factor is the vulnerable illegal Kerch Bridge, which remains the main artery for so-called tourism from Russia and is used by Moscow for military logistics,” the report said.
