The government is building an extensive system of special television and radio broadcasting networks across the borders, which will prevent hostile propaganda.
The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 16.1 million for the creation and operation of a special television and radio broadcasting system that will prevent anti-Ukrainian broadcasting in four border regions of Ukraine – Donetsk, Nikolaev, Kherson and Zaporozhye. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.
“The government is developing a wide system of special television and radio broadcasting networks on the borders, which will prevent enemy propaganda. For this, in March the government allocated UAH 137.6 million for nine regions budget reserve fund,” said Deputy Economy Minister of Ukraine Vitaly Kondratov.
This year, the government allocated UAH 124.4 million from the reserve budget fund to the State Special Communications Service (for Radio Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Television Concern). for Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Vinnitsa and Odessa regions.

It was noted that the necessary equipment will be purchased and handed over to the Concern for Radio Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Television, and installation and commissioning work will also be carried out by the end of 2024.
