In the Volyn region, six out of seven fires extinguished by firefighters in one day were caused by lightning strikes.

The State Emergency Service press service reported this today, July 18.
We are talking about the following cases:
- fires in an outbuilding in the village of Volya, Kovel district, on the evening of July 17;
- fires at a commercial building in the village of Myshey in the Vladimir region at around three in the morning on July 18;
- a fire broke out in an outbuilding in the village of Gorodilets in the Kovel district at around four in the morning on July 18;
- fires in an outbuilding in the village of Karpilovka, Kamen-Kashirsky district, at about five in the morning on July 18;
- fires in the village of Zamostye, Kamen-Kashirsky district, at about five in the morning on July 18;
- a fire broke out in a commercial building in the village of Serkhov in the Kamen-Kashirsky district at around half past five on July 18.
There were no casualties as a result of these incidents, the fires were extinguished.
