The State Border Service did not record an increase in the total number of refusals or incidents related to the fact that the need to present a military registration document to leave Ukraine became mandatory for all Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 years. This was announced by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service, Andrey Demchenko, in a commentary on UP.
“87 citizens were refused to cross the border due to the lack of a military registration document on the first day of the change,” said Demchenko.
At the same time, according to the spokesperson, the total number of refusals to cross the border did not increase significantly compared to the previous day. He explains this by the fact that most men consciously approach the need to carry military registration documents with them.
According to Demchenko, the total number of refusals on Wednesday, July 17, was about 255 people, of which 87 were due to the lack of a military registration document, and on July 16, the total number of refusals was at 220 .
