In the Khmelnitsky region, employees of the State Emergency Service rescued two people in the Dniester. The press service of the department reported this on Wednesday, July 17.
So, at 16:00, divers of the State Emergency Service while patrolling the river area noticed a person in the water. A 31-year-old man is in need of help after being swept far from the beach. With immediate help from specialists, he returned to earth.
A few minutes later, the second event occurred: a 21-year-old vacationer on a Sup board found himself in a difficult position due to a strong gust of wind, which carried him far from the coast. The young man tried to call for help, fortunately, the specialists of the State Emergency Service rescued the vacationer with his watercraft, which brought both unharmed to the beach.
It was earlier reported that military sailors rescued a man who was swept out to sea.
As reported, at the beginning of June in the Khmelnitsky region in the village of Sutkovtsy, two teenagers drowned while swimming in a local lake.
