The first such structural unit has begun to be formed on the basis of the “Revenge” brigade. It will be headed by Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Oleksyuk. This was stated by the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Deineko, during his visit to the “Revenge” brigade, which is working in the Bakhmut direction. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine on Telegram.
The head of the Ukrainian border guards thanked Lieutenant Colonel Alexey and his colleagues for their effective combat work and assured that the newly created unit would receive all the necessary assistance from the highest authorities.
Let us recall that on June 11, a new branch of the armed forces was officially created in Ukraine – the Unmanned Systems Forces. This is the first branch of the armed forces in the world that uses air, sea, unmanned ground and robotic systems in its combat operations. Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vadim Sukharevsky was appointed commander of this branch of the armed forces.
