The Verkhovna Rada is developing a bill on the introduction of economic mobilization parallel to economic reservation. The head of the parliamentary committee on economic development, Dmytro Natalukha, said this at a briefing, Ukrinform reported on Wednesday, July 17.
According to him, when economic reservation is introduced, not all small businesses will be able to pay for their workers, so the military proposed the concept of economic mobilization in addition to the idea of economic reservation.
“Imagine that you have a service station that does not have the ability to pay 20 thousand hryvnias per employee per month for a reservation but it asks military men who constantly repair their cars in the category of “economic mobilization” , – said the representative of the people.
Natalukha emphasized that economic mobilization will consist of ensuring that a business that cannot afford to pay 20 thousand hryvnias tax for the reservation of an employee can provide free goods, work or services that are required by the military, with a similar value.
In fact, it means that for the amount of the booking amount, you have to provide services for the same amount. For example, you want to book four workers, this is the amount of 80 thousand hryvnias per month, which means that you, as a business owner, must enter into a contract with several teams for free services within 80 thousand hryvnias per month. And for this you will get the right to reserve four workers,” he explained.
The Town Deputy emphasized that the concept of economic mobilization is under development. It will be included in a bill with economic reservation, but there is no talk about the timing of the presentation of such a bill.
As reported, the Rada proposes to allow businesses to book workers by paying 20 thousand hryvnia military tax per month for each of them.
Also, two alternative bills were registered in the Rada, including: a model with a reservation on the salary level above 35 thousand hryvnia and a mixed model – 35 thousand hryvnia salary for an employee, 20 thousand hryvnia tax in the military for individual entrepreneurs.
