In Kyiv, Kyiv, Odessa, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk regions, there is a high probability of using light gray blackout zones throughout the day.
According to the instructions of NEC Ukrenergo, hourly power outage schedules on Monday, July 15 are planned to be applied from 00:00 to 24:00, the DTEK press service reports.
As mentioned in the message, in Kyiv, Kyiv, Odessa, Donetsk, and Dnepropetrovsk regions, there is a high probability of using light gray blackout zones throughout the day.
According to Ukrenergo, from 16:00 to 24:00 oblenergos will apply four periods of closure simultaneously. At other times, there will be three closing rounds.
When oblenergos use one queue of closing schedules, it means 4 hours of restrictions per day, two queues – 8 hours of restrictions, three queues – 12 hours of restrictions, four queues – more 12 hours of restrictions.
How to distribute this load during the day, what the length of the queue will be is the responsibility of the regional power companies. These are regional power companies that make schedules for each region. Ukrenergo only determines the number of queues that must simultaneously close all oblenergos in the country.
Ukrenergo: changes in schedules will be reported separately.
We remind you that in Ukraine, “days without blackouts” have been abolished. The reason for the decision is a significant lack of electricity in the energy system and increased consumption due to heat.
It was previously reported that July will be the most difficult period for the Ukrainian energy system. Currently, nuclear power plants are undergoing scheduled maintenance.
