It will be very hot in Ukraine for the next three days, with air temperatures reaching 40 degrees.
The heat will continue in Ukraine. Only on July 18 the air temperature will drop slightly, but the weakening will be temporary and not all over Ukraine. Forecaster Natalya Didenko reported it.
According to him, the heat will reach its peak on Sunday, July 14. Then the air will heat up to +40 degrees in some places. This temperature will last for several days.
“No rain, scorching sun, high fire danger and possible small tornadoes,” he warned.
Didenko added that the hottest time in the capital will be on July 14-16. Then the air temperature will be +39 degrees.
He clarified that on July 18-20 it will be colder in the north, west, Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv regions.
“After +35+40 degrees, the drop in air temperature to +30 degrees or, in silence, to +29 degrees – it will actually be seen by the heat-depleted body as a cold snap,” the weather forecaster note.
The abnormal heat in Ukraine affects the early grain harvest, but it is not critical. At the same time, such weather is dangerous for late grains, sunflowers and soybeans, said Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky.
It was previously reported that July will be the most difficult period for the Ukrainian energy system. It is at this time that nuclear power plants undergo scheduled maintenance.
