The State Border Service has closed more than 20 tourist routes in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Now, within the region, it is prohibited to be closer than 5 km to the state border without the appropriate permission, in particular for the purpose of tourism, recreation or fishing. The restrictions do not apply to people living in this area, the State Tax Service website says.
It is prohibited to visit the tracts Pogorelets, Gadzhina, Podorovaty, Hungarian Rocks, the valleys of Krinta, Lukovitsa, Shiroka and Vesnerka, the mountains Chavchin, Smotrin, Ushasty Kamen, Pop Ivan, Berebenskul, Pozhizhevskaya Mergul, Turkul, Malaya Goverla, Berskul, Masleniy Prislep, Goicheskaya, Dukonya, Pniev, Lake Marichaika and the Krivopolsky Pass.
It is also prohibited to stop in the border zone for more than 20 minutes without good reason and to drive on roads that are not included in the register of motorways.
