North Korea called the declaration of the NATO summit, which condemned the DPRK’s arms transfer to Russia, an illegal document and expressed its readiness to strengthen its decisive strategic opposition to the United States and NATO. This was said by the speaker of the DPRK Foreign Ministry, KCNA news agency wrote.

The DPRK’s Foreign Ministry called the declaration “an illegal document that violates the legitimate rights of independent sovereign states and incites a new cold war and military confrontation on a global scale.”

The statement contains the traditional accusation against the United States and NATO of conspiring to destroy North Korea, as well as the Russian propaganda thesis that the Alliance has destroyed the security environment in Europe with its eastward expansion policy.

“We warn that the NATO globalization strategy pursued by the United States may create the risk of a world war… The DPRK will not tolerate such a serious threat and will carefully deter aggression and war by a strong degree of strategic contraction and protect peace and security in the region and the rest of the world,” – said the DPRK Foreign Ministry.

Let’s remember that on July 10, the joint declaration of the NATO summit in Washington was released. The document states that Ukraine is on an “irreversible path” to membership in the Alliance.
