Kostin noted the importance of a comprehensive policy to prevent illegal trafficking of technologies and increase responsibility for those involved in such activities.
At a meeting in The Hague on preventing the illegal circulation of sensitive technologies, Prosecutor General Andrei Kostin said that Russian missiles and drones contain components produced in at least 19 countries. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General on Friday, July 12.
In his speech, he noted that the missiles and drones with which the enemy attacks the peaceful cities and villages of Ukraine every day contain foreign components produced, in particular, in China, North Korea, Germany, Great Britain , Japan, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the USA.
The Prosecutor General focused on the importance of developing a comprehensive policy to prevent illegal trafficking of technologies and increasing responsibility for those who participate in such activities.
“This includes the criminalization of transportation, sale, purchase, delivery or other activities related to the supply of technological goods to sanctioned entities and individuals,” Kostin added.
Also, according to him, the meeting can be a platform for creating practical initiatives aimed at limiting the potential of the Russian military and its henchmen.
We previously reported that experts found 290 parts made by more than 25 foreign companies in the DPRK ballistic missile launched by Russia in Ukraine.
Let’s recall that a report by the British organization Conflict Armament Research reported that the North Korean missiles used by the Russian Federation to attack Ukraine contain components from American and European companies.
