As a result, so-called “winter time” will be recorded in Ukraine. This was reported today, July 10, in his Telegram channel by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
According to the previous agenda for the upcoming plenary week, the Rada will consider in the second reading the Speaker’s bill No. 4201, which provides for the abolition of the transition from summer to winter time and vice versa in Ukraine, he noted.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted this bill in the first reading back in March 2021, but was subsequently amended for a second reading.
According to the text of the bill, it is proposed to establish the calculation of time on the territory of Ukraine according to Kyiv time, which corresponds to the second time zone in the Coordinated Universal Time scale (UTC+2) and is valid in Ukraine from the last Sunday of October to the last Sunday of March.
