Deputy Secretary of Defense Natalya Kalmykova met with US Army Lieutenant General Mary Krueger Izaguirre and US Army Brigadier General Andrew Landers. The parties, in particular, discussed strengthening cooperation in military medicine and training of military personnel, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported on Wednesday, July 10.

Training of trainers for tactical medicine instructors to launch the CLS course (lifeguard course).

Launch of ATLS (Advanced Trauma Support) courses for military doctors.

Continuation of ASSET courses for military operations teams.

Fighting nosocomial infections and antibiotic resistance.
Kalmykova noted that the agreements will help strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in military medicine, improve the qualifications of Ukrainian military doctors and improve medical support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
